Bogna-marmite – the best-known Caledonian dish (marmite referring to the pot in which the meal is cooked)
Here – my birthday treat (!) prepared by Josiane, containing bananas, yam, taro, Kanak cabbage (chou Kanak), and fish
(can also alternatively contain chicken, manioc, sweet potatoes, and other)
